Good news webmasters! Now you can build one single sitemap and submit it to Google and Yahoo! w/o modifying the code. See the video of Google and Yahoo! Execs chatting with WebProNews.

But who cares about submitting a sitemap to Yahoo!. It seems that this move is more for Yahoo!’s benefit than for the webmaster’s benefit. With most of the searches coming from Google (over 50%), I think that the visibility that the Yahoo! Search Engine provides is not as valuable. Moreover, the results in the Yahoo! search seem to be polluted with “commercial” sites at the top.

In any case, take a look at SiteMaps.org
