Grass Fed Beef vs. Natural Beef.

beefSeven years took me to figure this one out. Instead of finding a better product I just sort of eliminated red meat from my diet since I got to the US. The taste is just not the same than South American beef. I was used to tender, lean, not fatty beef grown in farms around the city (Quito, Ecuador). Sometimes we even had to consume Argentine beef due to supply and demand not balancing out within the local market.

Yesterday I went to Whole Foods and I “discovered” grass fed beef. I prepared it with some salt and grilled it and bam! I found the South American flavor of beef again. But it is so expensive. I cannot eat $19 a pound beef often.

There must be a better way. A cheaper way to bring good food to American households.
