A work-around for the issue I left before: since the system identifies the name of the file to be retrieved, I changed the code to complete the copy of the file before renaming it to be recognized. And writing about 'work' ... our SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure at work (Java version 1.4.2_03) is retrieving and processing portions of the same file while it is being downloaded.
